Customer Relations Specialist II; Material Planning & Logistics Division

SEWS – Jeffersonville, Indiana Office. Although located at SEWS – Jeffersonville Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least four days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Customer Relations Specialist to join our dynamic automotive team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and Finished Goods from manufacturing facilities to our customers, supporting production schedules, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive supply chain processes, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across various departments.

• Inventory Control:
  Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, utilizing ERP systems for accurate tracking and forecasting.
• Logistics Coordination:
  Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and managing logistics partners effectively.
• Production Support:
  Work closely with production teams to align material availability with production schedules, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and generate reports for management review.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service levels.
• Analytical Thinking:
  Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions.
• Communication:
  Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Problem‑Solving:
  Proven track record of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail:
  Meticulous in monitoring inventory levels, order accuracy, and documentation.
• Project Management:
  Experience in managing projects, timelines, and cross‑functional teams.

• Work Experience:
  
  3–5 years minimum experience in production and/or material planning and warehouse operations.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree with concentration on Supply Chain Management or similar study preferred.
• Skills/
  
  Certifications:
  
  English fluency required. Business Spanish reading, typing, and speaking proficiency preferred.
• Proficient Microsoft Applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) skills required.
• Strong mathematical skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to perform in a stressful environment.
• Sequential manufacturing / scheduling / international business / import experience preferred.
• FORD system, FCA eSupplier
  
  Connect portal experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the effective manufacture and distribution of finished goods, primarily on Automotive industry.
