Product Development Technician

Our client is a medical device manufacturer looking to bring on an experienced technician responsible for building complex catheter systems end to end to support product development, engineering studies, and validation activities. This role requires deep catheter manufacturing experience and the ability to independently build devices starting day one.

• Independently fabricate complex catheter assemblies from raw materials through final build.
• Set up and operate braiders (including understanding differences between 32- and 64-carrier braids).
• Perform coiler setup and operation.
• Work with thermoplastics, thermal forming, and bonding processes.
• Understand and apply flex section design differences and performance impacts.
• Perform dodding/soldering of wire connections and associated testing.
• Support prototype builds, engineering studies, and design verification.
• Create and maintain basic manufacturing documentation (BOMs, routers, procedures).
• Execute inspections, IQs, and support lab activities.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or product development.
• Proven experience building complex catheter systems start to finish.
• Strong background in precision assembly and small-part manufacturing.
• Experience working in a regulated (medical device) environment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings;
  Solid Works experience a plus.
