Production Manager, Operations Engineer
Position Summary
The Kitting Lead, under the direction of the Production Shift Supervisor, will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the Kitting Cell in achieving goals related to kitting production, safety, quality, and people. The Kitting Lead must possess considerable skills, knowledge, and experience related to the Kitting process, warehouse management, and related equipment within this cell. The incumbent will display a commitment to Core Values.

- Contributes to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations
- Directs and assists Kitting personnel to reach daily safety and production goals
- Primary contact for resolving problems and addressing issues within the Cell
- Assists Supervisor with various issues (production, personnel, training, etc) within Cell as required
- Builds cross functional Cell team to cover for vacancies and increase operational effectiveness
- Maintains 6S initiatives and Raw Material staging
- Performs Daily WIP Inventory Counts
- Assists in Monthly Inventory Counts
- Maintains Quality Standards for finished goods
- Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED):
Required
Experience: One to three years experience in a similar position
Certifications & LicensesForklift certification and material handling experience
Other Requirements:
Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by Timber Tech's Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program;
Demonstrated understanding of Kitting processes;
Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally;
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences;
Must be self-directed and motivated.
