RoleWe call upon individuals with a knack for maintenance excellence at our Jeffersonville, Indiana branch. The role requires hands‑on management of plastic injection molding equipment alongside a skilled team. Here is a glimpse into the daily endeavors:
- Uphold maintenance protocols across equipment and facilities.
- Discern issues via operational observation and sound analysis.
- Disassemble and correct faulty components efficiently.
- Refine elements of machinery for accurate operation.
- Implement robotic programming knowledge toward improvements.
- Facilitate synergy with Process Technicians to address issues.
- Keep meticulous records aligned with compliance standards.
- Execute a robust preventive maintenance schedule.
- Commit to safety best practices as per OSHA guidelines.
- Tackle repairs on hydraulic, HVAC, and pneumatic systems.
- Delve into electrical complications with adept rewiring skills.
- Engineer solutions with poke‑yoke/alarm systems.
- Navigate repair of machinery and control systems adeptly.
- Leverage PLC logic for diagnostic and program adjustments.
- Identify and resolve maintenance challenges swiftly.
- Contribute to new product launch with technical insight.
- Education level:
High School Diploma or GED necessary; further education advantageous. - 3‑5 years working with injection molding technology.
- Robotics and control proficiency, including program troubleshooting.
- Demanding understanding of electrical systems, preferably in industrial contexts.
- Extensive machinery and systems repair experience.
- Interpretative skills for schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Commitment to remaining technologically current.
- Communicate with high efficacy.
- Adaptability in functioning autonomously.
- Capacity to handle physical demands like lifting and maneuvering.
- Preparedness to work from various heights and static positions.
- Comfort in stationary roles as dictated by duties.
