Job Summary:
The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining production machinery to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to maintaining ATTC's high manufacturing standards.
This position is a second shift position starting at 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow standardized work instructions, procedures, and safety regulations
- Inspect equipment and perform routine TQM (Total Quality Maintenance) checks
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards
- Identify and report mechanical, safety, or production issues promptly
- Track hourly production results and communicate equipment status to supervisors
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred:
- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
- Experience operating CNC or other industrial machinery a plus
- On-the-job training provided for motivated candidates
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and chest-high when required.
- Able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
