Machinist

Dover Precision Components seeks a skilled Machinist to produce high-precision parts for bearings, seals, and monitoring systems used in demanding energy, industrial, and aerospace applications. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC and manual equipment, read blueprints, and hold tight tolerances using precision measuring tools. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams, follow strict safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement in an engineering-driven, growth-focused culture within a global industrial leader.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and manual machines to produce precision components to print
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and measurement specifications
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect parts and verify tolerances
• Perform routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and offsets to maintain quality and throughput
• Monitor production, identify issues, and collaborate with engineering and quality to resolve problems
• Follow safety procedures and 5
• S/lean practices to maintain a safe, organized work area
• Accurately record production data, inspections, and nonconformances in shop systems
• Support continuous improvement and participate in training to expand machining capabilities
