Sign-on bonus: $1,000 paid in four $250 installments at your 3-, 6-, 9-, and 12-month anniversaries.
A day in this role
You arrive at 6:00 AM, review build specs and blueprints, stage components, and begin assembling HVAC/R subassemblies that will power training systems used in classrooms and labs around the country. Your morning includes precision soldering of copper tubing, calibrating test equipment, and validating performance against documented specifications. After lunch, you refine and update build procedures, troubleshoot a tricky defect on a refrigeration loop, and finish by running final tests so each unit leaves the floor operating exactly as intended.
What you will do Assemble HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies, and components for production training equipment.
Verify system and component performance meets specifications; document results.
Create, update, and maintain manufacturing procedures for assigned devices.
Solder copper tubing with clean, reliable joints.
Diagnose and resolve defects or errors in parts and assemblies.
Identify and correct issues related to broken/defective components, products, and tools.
Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test-related equipment.
What you bring
Strong mechanical aptitude and pride in quality workmanship.
Ability to read blueprints and product specifications in English.
Experience soldering copper tubing (preferred).EPA 608 Certification (preferred).Organized, self-motivated, able to work independently.
Dependable—ready to start at 6:00 AM each day.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Schedule and benefits
Day shift for all employees; 40-hour work week, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.Optional overtime on Saturdays from 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM.Climate-controlled facility.
