WhatYou'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electro-mechanical production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including:
- Conveyors
- Mixers
- Fillers
- Packaging machinery
- Refrigeration systems
Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear, damage, or potential failures before they impact production
Support PLC troubleshooting and assist with automation-related issues
Maintain equipment to maximize uptime and production efficiency
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety regulations
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately
Partner with Production and Operations teams to minimize downtime
Assist with startup, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications Required Experience & Skills- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience maintaining and repairing production equipment
- Knowledge of conveyors, mixers, fillers, packaging equipment, and related systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Experience working in food manufacturing or other GMP-regulated environments
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
Experience with industrial refrigeration systems
Experience in food and beverage manufacturing
Experience supporting startup facilities or new production lines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented with strong maintenance documentation skills
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to grow with the organization
