Plastics Molding Technician

As a Plastics Molding Technician, you will play a vital role in our production facility by managing the end-to-end operation of injection molding machinery. You will ensure high-quality output, optimize line efficiency, and maintain a safe, organized environment to meet our manufacturing throughput goals.

As a Plastics Molding Technician, you will play a vital role in our production facility by managing the end-to-end operation of injection molding machinery. • Execute the setup, startup, and continuous operation of injection molding equipment to maintain production schedules.
• Perform routine quality inspections, both visual and mechanical, to ensure all products adhere to strict quality standards.
• Accurately document production data, including quality logs, destruction reports, and performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Manage raw material inputs, including identifying and processing various resins like Vpet, Rpet, and HDPE for system reintroduction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace, adhering to all plant safety protocols and best practices.
• Utilize manufacturing software systems such as Shotscope, Ignition, and Electric
  80 to monitor and improve line flow.
• Provide cross-functional support across different production areas to ensure consistent output and operational flexibility.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or injection molding environment.
• Proven ability to operate and monitor multiple high-speed manufacturing machines.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow precise technical instructions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and identifying production defects.

• 4+ years of experience within a similar industrial or plastics manufacturing setting.
• Prior experience in a leadership or project management capacity.
• Advanced knowledge of resin identification and material handling processes.
• Technical aptitude for complex manufacturing control systems and data logging software.
