About the RoleCertified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where the resident’s well‑being is prioritized. From assisting with activities of daily living to providing companionship and reassurance, the CNA helps create a homelike environment that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention for each resident.
ResponsibilitiesSupport residents with activities of daily living, maintain a comfortable and engaging atmosphere, and collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Skills Needed- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Possess physical stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams.
- Maintain a team‑oriented approach toward excellent resident care.
- Communicate respectfully and positively to support a positive work environment.
- Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
