Registered Nurse; RN

Responsibilities

Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The RN must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

7 p.m.–7 a.m., non‑exempt hourly position. Every other third weekend will be required.

$15,000 sign‑on bonus for the night shift.

• Current license to practice nursing in Indiana (or eligible to receive or renew)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an ASN or BSN
• Experience in health care preferred but not required
• Preferred: one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5‑65 years+

Additional requirements:

CPR certification, CPI & appropriate use of seclusion and restraint prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam.

Hours of work: 7 p.m.–7 a.m., no weekends.
