Part-Time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner; NP​/Physician Assistant; PA)

Get Well Health System is seeking an experienced Part-Time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) rienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing multi-specialty practice on a part-time basis. This position will provide Family Practice/Primary Care services to patients at our Indiana and Kentucky locations.

We are looking for a provider who is dependable, patient-focused, comfortable working independently within their scope of practice, and able to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.

• Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine services to adult patients
• Perform patient evaluations, histories, physical examinations, and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications within applicable state and federal regulations
• Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
• Follow organizational policies and applicable federal and state healthcare requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Licensed in Indiana and Kentucky, or eligible and willing to obtain licensure in both states
• Appropriate prescriptive authority and controlled-substance registration as required for the position
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• National board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline
• Family Practice/Primary Care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-specialty practice
• Current BLS certification
