Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities within a new construction data center environment. The position ensures that all installation and production processes meet established quality standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The individual will work closely with on-site management and project teams to identify issues, drive continuous improvement, and maintain accurate quality documentation while supporting a fast-paced construction schedule.
Job Responsibilities- Inspect procedures, specifications, methods, and results related to production and installation activities.
- Review project and task records for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to clients.
- Ensure the most current corporate quality procedures and client installation standards are consistently applied.
- Investigate and resolve client quality complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Evaluate new materials prior to approval for field installation.
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Provide customer-focused service that is responsive, flexible, and cost effective.
- Support demand planning efforts and contribute to effective project scheduling.
- Prepare and deliver timely reports and analysis of key quality trends for management.
- Apply and promote quality best practices across all project activities.
- Comply with all safety rules, procedures, guidelines, and company policies.
- Deliver quality-focused training to employees as required.
- Provide daily and weekly updates to on-site management regarding QA/QC issues.
- Maintain quality issues within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Track updates and ensure proper closeout of all open quality issues.
- Conduct visual inspections throughout assigned spaces.
- Complete visual inspection checklists and upload documentation to the QMS repository.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, process management, operations, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in process optimization, operations, quality assurance, or business management.
- Professional certification such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor preferred.
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify weaknesses in processes and organizational structures.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Ability to lead and support organizational change initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline as outlined above.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in quality, operations, or process improvement roles.
