Quality Manager Position Jeffersonville, Indiana

Our Jeffersonville facility operates in a high-performance, safety-driven, and compliance-focused manufacturing environment aligned with IATF 16949 and ISO standards.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to lead all quality functions within the plant and ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the production quality control and quality assurance of automotive interior parts, ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards through QC team operations, supplier management, QMS compliance, and continuous improvement activities.

• Establish, operate, and maintain a quality management system (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Establish quality policies and objectives and manage the overall quality direction of the company.
• Analyze and respond to customer quality demands and perform quality assurance activities such as claims and 8D reporting.
• Operate a quality inspection system at each stage, including import, processing, and shipping, and manage inspection standards and records.
• Create, review, and approve quality assurance documents such as APQP, PPAP, and FMEA during the new product development phase.
• Plan and conduct reliability tests and analyze the results to verify product quality stability.
• Perform root cause analysis when defects or abnormalities occur during the manufacturing process and prevent recurrence through corrective and preventive measures.
• Establish and monitor quality indicators (KPIs) and promote data-driven improvement activities.
• Perform quality assessments, guidance, and audits of partner companies, and manage the quality level of supplied products.
• Ensure the reliability of quality assurance by calibrating and inspecting measuring instruments and testing and inspection equipment. Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits (including those conducted by customers and certification agencies) and manage actions based on the results.
• Enhance company-wide quality awareness and strengthen the capabilities of lower-level quality organizations through quality training and internal communication.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of quality leadership experience in automotive manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of:
  • IATF 16949
  • APQP / PPAP
  • FMEA / Control Plans
  • MSA / SPC
  • 8D / Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience leading external audits
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification
• Experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing
• Experience working with OEM automotive customers

• Manufacturing plant environment
• Requires walking production floor regularly
• Occasional travel for customer visits or corporate meetings
