- Sample, prepare, and test product blends, raw materials, imported products, and finished products according to ASTM/JIS standards and established procedures.
- Evaluate and release filling purges and stop production of blended or filled materials when test results are out of specification.
- Perform basic equipment calibrations and participate in accuracy control testing, reporting questionable results to Laboratory Management.
- Accurately record, document, and communicate laboratory test results and production testing status.
- Perform administrative tasks, including SAP data entry, preparing test sheets and test lots, and scanning test results.
- Support general laboratory housekeeping and maintenance, including dishwashing and solvent recycling.
- Assist with small‑scale hazardous spill response and actively participate in required safety and hazardous-material training.
- Follow all established quality, environmental, safety, and operational policies, including IATF/ISO 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Identify and assist in analyzing root causes of issues related to assigned work and laboratory processes.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and respect while completing tasks and required training accurately and on time
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology with 0–2 years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of manufacturing laboratory experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong problem‑solving, mathematical, and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced laboratory setting.
- Comfortable working in and around a chemical environment.
