Best-One Tire & Service in Jeffersonville at our Align Rite location is looking for a full-time, Lead Commercial Mechanic to lead a team of mechanics in performing non-engine mechanical work on commercial vehicles. What you will be doing as a Lead Mechanic:

· Perform mechanical work including but not limited to alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications.

· No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility.

· Providing guidance and training to other team members

· Helping assign jobs and duties to team members

· Assisting with scheduling customer jobs

· Helping to motivate team members and keep them on task

· Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory.

· Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs.

What We're Looking For:

· Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles.

· Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must.

· Must have own tools and tool storage.

· Experience working with computer point of sale software is a plus.

· Possessing a CDL is a plus.
