Practice Model Consultant

The Practice Model Consultant embeds child welfare best practices into daily operations at the Indiana Department of Child Services, providing mentoring, coaching, and training to staff across the state. Based in Jeffersonville, this role facilitates learning labs, conducts data analysis on practice fidelity, and serves as a liaison between central office and regional staff to implement policies and drive outcomes in family-centered child welfare practice.

The position involves significant travel across Southeast Indiana to deliver training and support challenging case consultations.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or related field; three years of experience in similar role
• Extensive knowledge of child development, child welfare, family systems, or behavioral health topics
• Excellent writing and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Power Point
• Ability to travel statewide overnight and provide training during evening/weekend hours
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn Excel and Access
• Knowledge of resource and adoptive parent issues and ability to promote teamwork
