The CDLA Driver Local role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Albany IN. The driver will operate CDL Class A trucks on local routes, performing safe and timely pick‑ups and deliveries while following all federal, state, and company regulations. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and handling freight, completing required logs and documentation, and communicating with dispatch and customers as needed.
The driver will maintain a clean, well‑kept vehicle, adhere to safety protocols, and represent TSI TRUCKING LLC professionally on the road and at customer locations. This role may include regular weekday shifts with occasional overtime or weekend work, depending on operational needs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Truck Driving with experience operating commercial vehicles and handling local routes safely.
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of applicable DOT regulations.
- Strong Communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, coworkers, and customers.
- Solid Customer Service abilities to ensure professional interactions and responsive service at pickup and delivery locations.
- Experience operating and maintaining a Truck, including performing basic inspections and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
- Ability to lift and move freight as required, and to work in varying weather and road conditions.
- Two years verifiable driving history with CDLA
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, reliability, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
