Taylor Corporation is a growing, dynamic company in the print and communications industry. We are recruiting a Team Lead (Shipping & Receiving) to manage warehouse operations.
Work AuthorizationCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Shift ScheduleMonday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime as required, including some weekends.
Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations for a small team.
- Support shipping, receiving, storing, counting, packaging, and distribution of materials and merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Coordinate movement of supplies, products, and materials between departments and workstations.
- Pull, count, weigh, identify, and verify materials to ensure proper storage, tagging, and order accuracy.
- Check incoming and outgoing materials against invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and related documents.
- Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and shipped, including discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory activity.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment used for moving, labeling, weighing, sealing, and packaging materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Proficiency with a computer operating system to track inventory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Experience managing a small team in a warehouse environment.
- Communicate and exchange accurate information.
- Remain in a stationary position as required.
- Move throughout the facility as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment and handle products.
- Lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience in a lead role.
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.00, with final base pay dependent on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
