Team Lead, Shipping & Receving - 1st Shift

Taylor Corporation is a growing, dynamic company in the print and communications industry. We are recruiting a Team Lead (Shipping & Receiving) to manage warehouse operations.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime as required, including some weekends.

• Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations for a small team.
• Support shipping, receiving, storing, counting, packaging, and distribution of materials and merchandise.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Coordinate movement of supplies, products, and materials between departments and workstations.
• Pull, count, weigh, identify, and verify materials to ensure proper storage, tagging, and order accuracy.
• Check incoming and outgoing materials against invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and related documents.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and shipped, including discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory activity.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment used for moving, labeling, weighing, sealing, and packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.

• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Proficiency with a computer operating system to track inventory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience managing a small team in a warehouse environment.

• Communicate and exchange accurate information.
• Remain in a stationary position as required.
• Move throughout the facility as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment and handle products.
• Lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience in a lead role.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.00, with final base pay dependent on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
