Now Hiring Experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators! Allegiance Staffing is hiring experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a leading manufacturing and distribution facility in Jeffersonville, IN. If you have experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with competitive pay and long-term career potential.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a sit-down forklift throughout the warehouse and production facility
- Load and unload trucks
- Move raw materials, pallets, and finished products
- Stage materials for shipping and production
- Supply production lines with materials
- Perform inventory movements using RF scanners or warehouse systems
- Complete daily forklift safety inspections
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist warehouse and production teams as needed
- Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Stable work history with excellent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 12-hour shift
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
