Fulfillment Center Supervisor- 1st Shift

Taylor Corporation seeks an Energetic 1st Shift Fulfillment Center Supervisor in Jeffersonville, IN to lead day-to-day operations, manage talent, and ensure a safe, efficient workplace.

Hours:

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday (additional hours may be required). Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Manage day-to-day operations of a customer’s distribution center
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Oversee hiring, training, and employee relations
• Control expenses, inventory, and loss prevention
• Ensure timely distribution of merchandise
• Adhere to warehouse policies and practices
• Track key performance indices
• Develop departmental budgets and control costs
• Manage relationships with onsite customers

• Strong customer-focused mindset
• Quality and process driven
• Project management skills/experience
• College degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Documented work history of increasing responsibility
• Strong working knowledge of UPS, Fed Ex, and other manifesting systems
• Knowledge of material-handling equipment such as sit-down lift trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and bar-code scanners

• LEAN Manufacturing knowledge
• Leadership experience
