Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Jenison, MI
Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Jenison seeking experienced Bookkeeper / Office Managers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Process payroll for manufacturing staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for financial and office records.
- Oversee general office operations, including supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial reports as needed.
- Coordinate administrative tasks to support the manufacturing team and management.
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Quick Books Desktop and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage office operations, including vendor relations and supplies.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting beyond basic functions
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and their impact on financial records
- Experience with payroll processing and related compliance in a manufacturing setting
- Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., AIPB Certified Bookkeeper) or office administration (e.g., IAAP Certified Administrative Professional)
