Superintendent
The Site Superintendent will oversee crews of 5-6 employees, including heavy equipment operators, pipelayers, and laborers. This role involves coordinating daily schedules, overseeing field operations, and providing training and guidance to crew members as needed. The Superintendent will work closely with owners, estimators, inspectors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. Typical projects include site grading and earthwork, underground utility installation such as water mains, sanitary sewers, and storm drainage systems, as well as neighborhood and roadway reconstruction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee crews of 5-6 employees, including heavy equipment operators, pipelayers, and laborers.
- Coordinate daily schedules and oversee field operations.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members as needed.
- Collaborate with owners, estimators, inspectors, and other trades.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.
- Manage site grading and earthwork.
- Oversee underground utility installation such as water mains, sanitary sewers, and storm drainage systems.
- Facilitate neighborhood and roadway reconstruction projects.
Essential
Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience as a superintendent.
- Experience with MDOT, site grading, and utility construction.
- Ability to handle personnel effectively.
- Proficiency in reading plans.
- Computer savvy with software such as Trimble, Insight, and Procam.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Competitive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match and paid time off.
