Preschool Teacher – 2-Year-Old Classroom

Full-Time, Monday–Friday

ASAP The Learning Experience – Jenison is looking for an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to work with our energetic 2-year-old learners. You'll help children make the exciting transition from toddler hood toward preschool by strengthening communication, independence, social skills, and early learning through hands-on activities and consistent classroom routines.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom activities
• Support early language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
• Encourage independence and positive peer interactions
• Guide children through meals, toileting readiness, rest time, learning activities, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom
• Communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with your teaching team and center leadership
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred
• Experience working with toddlers or young preschoolers is a plus
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Dependable, nurturing, and confident managing a classroom
