Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Jenison region seeking Estimators. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quotes.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Present comprehensive estimates and proposals to clients, outlining scope, costs, and timelines.
• Maintain and update a database of cost data, pricing, and vendor information.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates and propose solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Epicor ERP system
• APICS certification
• Proficient in Solid Works or other CAD software
• Project management experience
