Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, and systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery and control systems.
• Implements and maintains electrical safety standards and procedures in the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new and existing production lines.
• Develops and maintains electrical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Participates in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and automation systems.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and calibration of electrical instruments and controls.
• Optimizes electrical system performance and reliability to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial control systems, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
