Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking Press Operator / Setups who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing press machines according to production schedules.
• Perform setup and changeovers of dies and tooling, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
• Conduct in-process quality checks, inspecting parts for defects and ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions, adjusting settings as needed to maintain production.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on press equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality data.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably presses.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for machine setup and minor repairs.
• Ability to perform quality checks using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor adjustments and preventative maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics
• Experience with quality control tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
