- Uses data to monitor the outcomes of care processes and uses improvement methods to design and test changes to continuously improve the quality and safety of patient care.
- An LPN shall communicate with a registered nurse, physician, and the patient’s health care team members to seek guidance with patient care.
- An LPN may collect data as allowed by the licensed practical nurse scope of practice as defined by the Pennsylvania/New Jersey Nurse Practice Act.
- Works closely with the registered nurse to assure the implementation of safe, quality care of the emergency department patients.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing and passed the Pennsylvania Board Association for Licensed Practical Nurse. - Experience:
Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of practice; BLS required based on organizational guidelines and policies. - Computer skills:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EMR, excellent oral and written communication skills, customer satisfaction, problem solving, organizational skills, and knowledge of relevant software and hardware. - Work Shift:
