As an Ambassador for Airgas, the Service & Delivery Professional takes pride in the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to our local and regional business partners. Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company‑provided straight or box truck, you manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with the customers you visit.

As a Service & Delivery Professional at Airgas, you will be part of a supportive professional team that encourages your personal growth and internal mobility, while ensuring you have the work/life balance you need to thrive.

• Cylinder Handling:
  Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.
• Record Keeping:
  Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Warehouse Support:
  Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

• Valid LA Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or no more than a combination of one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last 3 years.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of completion of trucking school within the last 12 months.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs. and occasionally lift 76–125 lbs. with aid of material handling equipment.
• Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary safety credentials for customer site access.

• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (Forklift/Moffett).
• Comfort with electronic logging and handheld delivery technology.
• Bilingual in Spanish (fluent speaking, writing, reading) strongly preferred.

• $26 per hour compensation, potential for bonuses.
