- Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sell money orders and cashier’s checks; transfer amounts as directed and within credit union policies.
- Balance daily transactions and ensure cash recycler inventory is correct at closing.
- Welcome members, provide routine service information, and escort them to appropriate locations in the branch.
- Resolve problems within authority, refer unresolved issues to supervisor with recommendations.
- Continuously seek ways to WOW members or potential members in all interactions.
- Practice overcoming member objections when recommending Pioneer products and services.
- Meet daily, weekly, or monthly goals and maintain accountability.
- Maintain member account information on computer systems by gathering complete and accurate data and updating records as needed.
- Ensure appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
- Act as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.
- Help maintain Pioneer’s brand look and feel at all times.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Pioneer products and services, including electronic and video channels such as home banking, mobile banking, and My Pioneer Personal Assistant.
- Minimum six months of similar or related experience.
- High school education or GED.
- Excellent public relations skills and knowledge of Pioneer services and products.
- Organizational skills to ensure accurate recording and dissemination of required information.
- Efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in communication.
- Significant level of trust and diplomacy required; extensive personal contact with members and sometimes sensitive situations.
- Ability to motivate or influence others and foster relationships with external entities.
Very light physical effort typical of most office jobs. Comfortable standing positions may be required.
Work EnvironmentNormal light, heat, air, and space in a typical office setting.
