Sawtooth Veterinary Services is an established, full‑service animal hospital right here in Jerome, offering everything from wellness exams to surgery, dentistry, digital radiology, and more. We've built our reputation on trust and compassionate care, and we believe our front desk team is the heart of that experience; often the very first, and last, voice a client hears.

• Be the friendly first point of contact answering calls, greeting clients, and scheduling appointments
• Check patients in and out, keeping the front desk calm and organized even on busy days
• Relay client concerns accurately to our veterinary team so every pet gets the right care
• Handle payments, process transactions, and keep accurate client records
• Pitch in on day‑to‑day tasks that keep the hospital running, from filing to tidying the lobby

• A warm, professional attitude and genuine love for animals
• Strong communication skills: you listen well and explain things clearly
• Comfort with computers and basic office software
• The ability to stay organized and level‑headed while juggling multiple things at once
• Prior veterinary or customer service experience is a plus, but not required for the right person

• Competitive pay: $14.00–$16.00/hour, based on experience

This role is active and hands‑on: you'll be on your feet, moving around the reception area, lifting up to 30 lbs regularly (occasionally 50 lbs), and helping weigh and move patients. Because we care for animals that are sometimes scared or in pain, there's occasional exposure to bites, scratches, and other hazards common to a veterinary setting.
