Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating diverse learning styles and educational technology tools.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies.
  • Monitor student progress using performance data analysis and adapt instruction to meet individual needs, including students with special education requirements or autism spectrum disorder.
  • Integrate literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education into daily lessons to promote well-rounded development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, educational compliance, and innovative teaching practices such as Montessori or early childhood education methods.
  • Conduct regular assessments, including standardized testing preparations and formative evaluations, to track student achievement and inform instruction.
  • Engage in parent communication, providing updates on student progress and strategies for at-home learning support.
Qualifications
  • Proven classroom experience working with children in grades 3–5, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
  • Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math, and integrated subjects.
  • Knowledge of learning technology integration and educational software applications.
  • Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading, and writing to ensure clear instructional delivery.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special needs students.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or in early intervention settings is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, staff, and administration.
  • Familiarity with educational compliance regulations, standardized testing procedures, and behavior management techniques.
