How your role contributes to that mission:

We are looking for a Wastewater Treatment Operator in Jerome,  Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for the day to day operations of wastewater treatment, performing a variety of duties related to the collection, treatment and distribution of water and wastewater.

• Operate the wastewater treatment system in compliance with organization discharge limits.
• Operate wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of wastewater.
• Monitor control panels and adjust valves manually or by remote control to regulate flow of influent and chemicals

The profile that shares this sense of contribution:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year wastewater treatment experience or equivalent training/certification strongly preferred.
• Basic mechanical competency with standard wastewater equipment to include, pumps, and automation required.
• Wastewater Operator Certification required by state agency or obtained within one (1) year of hire.
