Registration​/Medical Assistant

Description This role is responsible for performing both clinical and front-office registration duties to ensure smooth operation and high-quality patient care at the North Canyon Jerome Clinic. The Medical Assistant – Registration works directly with patients, providers, and other clinic staff to perform clinical tasks within the Idaho Scope of Practice, as well as registration, scheduling, and customer service duties.

The Medical Assistant – Registration works directly with patients, providers, and other clinic staff to perform clinical tasks within the Idaho Scope of Practice, as well as registration, scheduling, and customer service duties.
Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Idaho, or eligible to obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
• Must hold and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years of clerical, front desk, or medical office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EHRs and Windows-based systems required.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension
• Customer service and patient relations expertise.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• High level of professionalism and personal presentation.
• Ability to multitask and stay accurate in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
• Sound judgment, emotional resilience, and collaborative spirit.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
