Director, DINING Services - Jerome Joint School District

Chartwells K12 aims to create happier, healthier cafeteria experiences for students. This Director of Dining Services will lead a K‑12 program serving about 4,000 students across seven schools. The role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, focused on daily meal service execution with opportunities to grow a catering program.

Target leads up to 40 frontline associates, owns day‑to‑day staff management, menu planning, and client relationships, and manages P&L to drive profitability.

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of frontline associates.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop top talent.
• Own the annual budget and control costs.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient dining operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Management, Hospitality, Culinary, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of food service management experience.
• K‑12 food service management experience or high‑volume food production expertise.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract‑managed services experience.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (strong plus).
