As a Facilities and Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring that production machinery operates at peak performance. By proactively managing mechanical and electrical systems, you will directly impact our facility's output and minimize costly operational interruptions.
Responsibilities- Maximize equipment uptime by performing precise mechanical adjustments and shaft alignments.
- Drive operational efficiency through the systematic inspection and maintenance of rotating components, including bearings and housings.
- Ensure the integrity of drive systems by diagnosing and replacing worn sprockets, chains, and related hardware.
- Optimize electrical system reliability by performing motor alignments, mount adjustments, and necessary rewiring.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic instrumentation, such as multimeters, to rapidly resolve control system faults.
- Champion equipment longevity by executing comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and industrial safety protocols.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Strong commitment to documentation accuracy and maintenance record-keeping.
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and vibration analysis.
- Advanced certification in industrial electrical systems or mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to interpret complex technical schematics and blueprints for system repairs.
