Location & Salary

Location: Burley/Jerome,

Salary: $800–$3,000 per week, based on a combination of per‑mile rate, load/unload rate, and a base training wage.

Responsibilities
  • Transport and deliver loaded and empty tanker, bulk, semi‑truck, and van trucks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Hook and unhook trailers, operate pumps and valves, and fill tanks using hoses, nozzles, and fittings.
  • Secure all products, hoses, and tools using approved methods such as tie‑downs and straps.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections of truck, trailer, and equipment; report any concerns, defects, incidents, or damage immediately.
  • Maintain clean and well‑maintained trucks and equipment; report any issues promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries; monitor key performance data to anticipate and resolve customer service issues.
  • Represent the company to customers, the public, and the trucking industry in a professional manner at all times.
  • Coordinate with management, dispatchers, customers, and fellow employees to ensure customer fulfillment and address issues or concerns.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with management, dispatchers, customers, and fellow employees.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork, working hours, and vehicle service/repair status, and maintain records required under company, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate safe work and risk management practices; communicate, enforce, and report all safety and security issues or incidents. Utilize uniforms and PPE appropriately and follow driving rules and laws.
  • Ensure confidentiality of data collection and storage.
  • Assist in warehouse or related duties as required, including loading/unloading of product using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Prioritize work assignments, coordinate with others to meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred (not required at application, required at hire).
  • Current DOT medical card required at hire.
  • Clean driving record.
  • TWIC preferred, but not required.
  • Must satisfactorily complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen and background check.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to drive manual transmission.
  • Capability to drive and work in all traffic and weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work up to 14‑hour days, 70‑hour weeks, including some weekends.
  • Proficient verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Capacity to make timely, safe, and sound decisions.
  • Flexibility to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment professionally.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly sit, stand, kneel, stoop, bend, climb stairs, and ladder.
  • Regularly lift, pull, push, and carry.
  • Perform tasks inside and outside, possibly exposed to extreme temperatures, weather, vapors/fumes/chemicals, and noise for extended periods.
