LHH Recruitment Solutions is proud to partner with a well‑established commercial construction organization seeking to bring on a Full Charge Bookkeeper to their growing team. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable managing both full‑cycle bookkeeping (80%) and administrative support (20%). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, excellent communication skills, and experience—or interest—in the commercial construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- Prepare invoices and requisitions
- Generate monthly statements
- Process ST‑8 form requests and conduct necessary follow‑up calls
- Obtain project Certificates of Insurance
Accounts Payable
- Calculate general conditions costs
- Produce payable reports
- Prepare documentation for ACH payments
- Research and reconcile vendor statements
- Monitor subcontractor insurance compliance
- Obtain and track lien waivers
Project Cost Accounting
- Perform project cost analysis
- Process owner and subcontractor change orders
- Track and calculate change order profitability
- Reconcile the general ledger
- Post all required journal entries
- Prepare project costing and budget reports
- Complete project close‑out reconciliations
- Interface with external accountants
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Administrative Responsibilities (20%)
- Collect and organize staff timesheets for payroll (payroll processed by a third‑party provider)
- Review and reconcile monthly corporate AMEX statement
- Collaborate with outside CPA as needed
- Perform additional administrative tasks as required
Salary Range: $80-$95K
Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401K plan.
PTO: 2 weeks
Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
