Position: Staff Accountant          at LHH

Staff Accountant

LHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in the non-profit space who is looking to bring a Staff Accountant on board on a 4+ month contract basis. This will require some in-office work in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and an innate desire to continue growing their skillset!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Record daily bank receipts
  • Assist with managing high volume AP invoices
  • Investigate and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables & v-lookups
  • Experience with large ERP system preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compensation: $30 - $35/hr, depending on experience. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law;
