We are partnering with a growing organization in the Jersey City, NJ area seeking a hands‑on Accounting Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with day‑to‑day operational accounting involvement.

The Accounting Manager will oversee core accounting functions, support financial reporting and cash flow management, and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and processes.

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP and AR functions
• Prepare and maintain A/R aging reports and assist with collections visibility
• Manage month‑end close
  , including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis
• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and ASC 842 accounting standards
• Assist with process improvements and support overall accounting operations
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with leadership and operational teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ years of prior accounting leadership/management experience
• Prior oversight of AP/AR operations
• Strong understanding of GAAP and ASC 842
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

• CPA or CMA designation
• Experience with Sage Intacct and/or Sage 300
