Staff Accountant

Job Description

A growing financial services firm is looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting team in the Iselin area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional early in their career who is looking to deepen their experience in a stable, team-oriented environment with strong mentorship and long-term growth potential.

As part of our General Accounting team, you’ll support a high-volume corporate accounting function for a rapidly growing national organization.

• Bank reconciliations
• General ledger maintenance and stewardship
• Transaction coding and account analysis
• Accruals and deferrals
• Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Assisting with reporting and accounting projects as needed

• 1–4 years of accounting experience
• Experience supporting financial close processes
• Familiarity with enterprise accounting/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team-oriented personality with a collaborative mindset
• Someone seeking stability, professional development, and long-term growth within accounting

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
