Fund Accountant

Title:

Fund Accountant Duration: 6 months Contract (Possible Conversion to Fulltime)

Location:

Hackensack NJ 07601 (Hybrid)/ Wall Street, NY as well.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Fund Accountant with 2-4 years of experience in alternative investments. The ideal candidate will have experience with hedge funds, private equity, CLOs, or other investment funds and strong knowledge of fund accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support.

• Perform and review fund accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support audit, tax, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Handle complex expense and incentive fee calculations.
• Review team members' work and assist with issue resolution.
• Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and escalations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of fund accounting or alternative investment experience.
• Experience with Hedge Funds, Private Equity, CLOs, or Fund Administration.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Advent, Confluence, and CPA are preferred.
