Position: Logistics Analyst- Jersey City, NJ
Day in the Life/ Details:

• Managing reporting for the team - strong/expert level in Excel- biggest requirement

• Understanding of how planning systems work is key- current consultant worked in SAP and Future Master, does not need to have experience in these two specific platforms but a huge plus if you have someone who does, however understanding and having experience in planning systems of some kind is crucial - all team forecasting happens in Future Master - this person would be responsible for reporting out their forecast to the team, direct supervisor and possible to business stakeholders

Role Summary:
Manager of Demand Planning influences business and operational stakeholders to position the brand for growth and profitability. Responsible for the shipment and sales forecast, inventory health, catalogue productivity, SIT and service for a category in the brand portfolio. Responsible for building a bottoms up forecast using intelligence from the market, sales teams. Helps drive analytics to provide a baseline for consensus Brand Forecast consolidation to help drive monthly S&OP cycle for the brand.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience

• Minimum of 3 years demand planning or related experience

• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills required
o Experience working with a forecast software system
o Experience working within an SAP environment a plus
o Experience in Microsoft applications, report building a plus
