Role OverviewWe are seeking a Business Support Manager to act as a key interface between central teams, including Business Management, Governance, Finance, and Operational Risk Management. This role focuses on headcount, resource, and vendor management, including invoice processing. The position also involves operational risk tracking, audit progress monitoring, and supporting general portfolio requests to ensure organizational best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the business management team to build reports and manage financial support functions.
- Work with technology development managers on resource allocation and forecasting.
- Engage with key business resources to address project, program, and audit information needs.
- Manage resource changes, including on-boarding, off-boarding, and reporting metrics.
- Handle vendor management tasks such as invoice processing, payment status, and forecasting for SOWs and contractors.
- Develop and track organizational metrics, including project status, financial forecasts versus actuals, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with corporate governance teams and project managers to ensure proper use of internal tracking tools.
- Assist project managers in developing resource and budget forecasts.
- Support ad-hoc requests for executive meetings and business presentations.
- Proven experience in resource management and forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management and procurement.
- Experience with metrics and reporting, including compiling reports and tracking project information for executive-level review.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Skills with SharePoint for managing workflows, portals, and data repositories.
- Superior business acumen and a delivery-focused mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
