Test Developer Job Jersey City area,New Jersey USA,Business

Developing capabilities such as models, analytical tools, and testing scripts
Working with process owners to understand data, process flows, and controls
Identifying risks to design effective testing and monitoring
Creating methodologies to evaluate process and control effectiveness and compliance

Requirements

Bachelor’s degrees or above in fields including Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Process and Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration (or equivalent work experience)
2+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering in Quantitative Finance or other industries
Strong Programming skills (e.g., Python) and solid understanding of Software Development Life cycle principles
Able to document and verbally explain the intuition and details behind testing methodologies clearly
Knowledge of financial services industry and related regulations
Demonstrating analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience implementing process improvements and automation
