Actuarial Analyst II – AI and Data Transformation

• Support the AI and data transformation roadmap for ISO loss costs and related data.
• Scope tasks and track progress against deliverables.
• Help design and build actuarial workflows and data logic for AI-facing and customer-facing tools.
• Apply actuarial knowledge to ensure the intelligence behind AI tools is accurate and useful.
• Assist in testing and validating new components and automation.
• Identify where solutions add value versus where they need refinement.
• Collaborate with operational and technical teams to understand data assets and their connection to customer-facing infrastructure.
• Take ownership of well-defined pieces of larger projects with support and mentorship.
• Report directly to the initiative lead on the Actuarial Transformation team.

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related major.
• 1-2 years of P&C actuarial experience, ideally with exposure to pricing or underwriting functions.
• Actively pursuing ACAS, with at least 3 exams.
• Familiarity with actuarial software and tools, such as R and/or Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Familiarity with ISO loss costs and/or ISO data products is a plus.
• Interest or experience in generative AI tools is a plus; candidates should be able to speak to how they've used AI on or off the job.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and non-standardized processes.
• Eagerness to learn from complex, diverse datasets.
• Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to teammates.
• Willingness to work independently on well-scoped tasks while knowing when to ask for guidance.

Demonstrates strong actuarial knowledge and data analysis skills, with a focus on AI tools and workflows. Proficient in actuarial software and tools, ensuring accurate and valuable insights for customer-facing applications.
