Construction Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Utilities
Location:
On-site, New Jersey
Salary:
Up to $125,000 + Benefits
Ascot Pierce is partnered with a well-established heavy civil and utilities contractor delivering water, wastewater, and underground infrastructure projects across New Jersey.
We are hiring a hands-on Construction Project Manager to run local projects end-to-end. This is a site-based delivery role — not a desk-first PM position.
The Role- Full ownership of $8M–$35M civil / utilities projects
- Short- and long-term construction planning
- Management of subcontractors, materials, and sequencing
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Cost, schedule, and productivity control
- Safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- On-site leadership and problem-solving
- Water & wastewater treatment facilities
- Underground water and sewer utilities
- Process piping systems
- Support of excavation, sheeting, and shoring
- Concrete and structural works
- Experience delivering heavy civil or utilities projects
- Strong site-based PM background
- Comfortable owning decisions on site
- Degree in Construction Management / Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Up to $125,000 base salary
- Local New Jersey projects only — no long-distance travel
- Stable pipeline and long-term continuity
