As their portfolio continues to grow, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their Design-Build Division. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to develop their career while working alongside experienced project managers on large-scale industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution projects.
Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers with the successful execution of multiple ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
- Track project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor progress.
- Participate in project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Assist with contract administration, change orders, pay applications, and cost tracking.
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules.
- Support quality control and ensure project documentation is maintained accurately.
- Monitor project milestones and proactively identify potential issues before they impact schedule or budget.
- Assist with project closeout, punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty items.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and field teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or design-build firm.
- Experience supporting commercial, industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change management.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a desire to continue growing within project management.
