An opportunity has opened for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing programme of major treatment works upgrades across the South West.

Rather than inheriting projects at construction stage, you'll have the chance to get involved during ECI, influencing design, buildability, programme and delivery strategy before taking schemes forward into construction.

• Managing water and wastewater treatment schemes through ECI and pre-construction
• Coordinating design, engineering, commercial and delivery teams to develop construction-ready solutions
• Reviewing buildability, programme, cost and project risk before schemes reach site
• Managing key client, stakeholder, designer and supply-chain relationships
• Supporting project planning, procurement and construction strategy
• Identifying programme and delivery risks early and driving them through to resolution
• Taking projects through the transition from pre-construction into delivery
• Supporting a growing portfolio of larger treatment works upgrades across AMP8

• Get into AMP8 early - live projects now with a larger pipeline coming through
• Work on substantial treatment works upgrades, not small reactive schemes
• Influence projects during ECI and pre-construction, rather than simply managing an existing plan
• Continuity of workload as further schemes progress into delivery
• Hybrid working, with Avonmouth attendance typically 1-2 days per week

• Proven Project Management experience within the water sector
• Experience on water or wastewater treatment works upgrades
• Strong ECI / pre-construction experience, taking schemes towards delivery
• Understanding of civils, M&E and process interfaces
• Experience managing design, programme, commercial and delivery risk
• Confident managing clients, designers, subcontractors and wider stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Comfortable travelling across Somerset / South West, w
