Job Description

Construction Project Engineer -

Opened position with a dynamic and growing heavy construction company with a large backlog of work.

Position is approximately 80% office-based and 20% field based.

Role includes the following:

• Procurement
• Submittals
• RFI Management
• Quantity Tracking and Job Cost
• Assist the team with planning & scheduling
• Work closely with the Project Superintendent and ensure compliance with plans & specs
• Work with the PM on budget reviews and making sure that costs are coded to the right activity in the field
• Assist with Monthly Billing and tracking of extra work

Software:

• HCSS Heavy Job
• Blue Beam

Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or commensurate experience

2 Years of prior experience with a heavy/civil self-perform construction company preferred.
